La nostra storia
The Folk group of Capriva was founded in late autumn in 1929, thanks to Michele Grion, unforgettable president and founder, to the memory of which the group has recently been named after.
During the over seventy years of activity we have performed in every part of Italy and in other European and extra-European countries. From the foundation till the beginning of the second world war the performances were done mainly in fairs and village feasts (of wine, or of cherries) in the Province of Gorizia.
Only with the resumption of the activities in 1946 our confraternity began to take part to important exhibitions, amongst which we remember:
